At the moment, A Day in the Past has no paid or affiliate links. Nobody pays us to link to their website.

How our links work

Links to other websites go through a short address on our own site that starts with /go/. This lets us keep links up to date in one place and count which ones are used (see our privacy page).

If that changes

If we ever add affiliate links — for example to a bookshop selling history books — we may earn a small commission when someone buys something after following one. It would never change the price you pay. Any such links would be marked as sponsored, and we would update this page to say which shops we work with. If we use Amazon links, we’ll include the statement Amazon asks its partners to show.
